WHAT'S THAT PRINT? and WITCH BOOTS

I got this skirt from the Loft and I love it! However I've asked myself on numerous occasions, what print is this? Is it Dalmatian? Is it Leopard? Is it Cow? Is it abstract?

Well regardless, I get a lot of compliments on my "what is it?" Skirt.

Please excuse the round sunny glow, camera and sun issue but I just keep telling myself it casts an angelic glow. Bah ha ha!!

I got the Chinese Laundry boots a couple years ago and I don't wear them a lot but I like to in October because I call them my witch boots. They are kind of pointy, yet comfortable, but they just look like they should go with a witch outfit.

Cardi and black shells are also from The Loft. Necklace from Kohl's.

Back to the Witch boot thing. Um, who else was terrified by the Wizard of Oz Wicked Witch??? I could not watch that movie without nightmares!!

Here's the SUPER odd thing, despite my OZ Witch fear, I ALWAYS begged my mom to be a Witch for Halloween. Easy costume for her.
That's me in the middle not smiling, thinking I'm scary

Now, by the musical Wicked, I was better at watching her green face and that Musical is a true favorite of mine but something about the original Oz Witch scares the bageebies out of me!!

Just look at her!!

  1. Regardless of the print that skirt is great on you!! Fun fact I've never seen the wizard of oz...just one of those things I missed as a child and haven't wanted to see as an adult LOL! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

  2. I love that skirt - super duper cute. I say is abstract dalmation. Since I am a huge fan of pairing black white and yellow I approve it that you chose mustard with it. I also like your Witch Boots whether wicked witches can be scary or not. "Wicked" is only one of the two musicals I have ever seen but I loved it very much.

P.S. I, like Biana, have never seen "The Wizard of Oz" either.

  7. OMG! You are cracking me up! You're truly scared of the Wicket Witch of the West? I have to admit that when i was younger, I was, too! I think all kids are. And just so you know, I was always a witch, too! My mom made my costume one year and I was so proud of it {my mom doesn't sew}. Love, love, LOVE the musical!!

  15. The Wizard of Oz witch completely terrifies me. To be honest, a lot of the things in that movie do! The monkeys, the wizard, them walking through the forest. The munchkins. And the whole tornado part will never be viewed the same to me after what happened to my family a few years ago. Nightmares for days, but love the sparkly shoes!!

That skirt is fabulous! Love the Loft! Most of my closet is from there!
