5 THINGS BLOGGERS FEEL.....But May Be Afraid To Say

5 Things Bloggers Feel but may be Afraid to Say...yep, I think many of us can relate to a few of these, if not all. Do you ever feel like your Blog friends get you more than your everyday friends? Like, dare it to say, but you might even like some of them more? There are things you may feel about being a blogger that others may not understand, but I am here to tell you that no matter how much you love your blog and the blogs of others, sometimes we feel these things...just like you would at a 9-5 job, parenting or plain adulting. Whether your blog is your job, your hobby or your online journal, I bet you can understand........

Commenting....can I get an Assistant??
Oh friends, you know how much I love to comment and I love you all and your awesome content but sometimes I simply cannot comment on all my loves. I have a list of my top 200 favorite blogs but it simply isn't possible to comment on every.single.one all the time. And her are a couple hundred more I read regularly. Just know I love ya all and browse your posts at least a few times a week. Now, if had that assistant, whoa, I'd make sure comments galore or better yet quit my day job...not doable.... #twokidsincollegethisyear

We Compare Ourselves To Other Bloggers even when we don't mean to...
I really don't mean too but man I want her house or I need to do better with my pictures...hers are amazing!! People don't want perfection, they want honest reality. COMPARISON:
DONT.DO.IT!! It can lower your confidence, spur unnecessary jealousy and limit your creative potential!!

Unorganized CLUTTERED, hard to navigate BLOGS
Gazillion Pop ups be gone, content so askew that I can't even find the latest blog post, captchas or signing in, difficult to comment boxes. Is it just me or does this drive you nuts too? Just about all the blogs I read are basically clean, easy to navigate because when I come across one that isn't I usually give up.

Bloggers that don't acknowledge you...EVER
This one irks me to no end. As I mentioned I'm a huge commenter and I know it can be overwhelming and really I don't mind if you never comment on mine or think my material is crap but there have been a couple, a few actually, especially the "I've grown huge" bloggers who never reach out to you in anyway...so I give up. There was one blogger who I admired and adored and I commented every.single.week but never ever heard a word so I gave up...you lost a reader. Even when curiosity got me and I viewed once again, I was disappointed with how commercialized and sponsored she had become so bye again. One little comment, email or google+ click even, just once, could make someone's day!!

Overwhelming
Yep, you so know what I'm talking about.....we're not complaining, we LOVE to blog and we LOVE the community or we wouldn't do this, but blogging can be like a heavy cloud sometimes, especially when we have day jobs, families, fur babies, commitments, bodies to exercise, etc.....This is where priorities come in and good organization skills. But if you need a break, you need a break and as a fellow blogger, I would Not be upset in the least of I head over and see you're on a siesta....enjoy that time sista, we'll all be here when you return!!

Ultimately, Living On Cloud Nine is an extension of my life, a virtual diary but it does not consume me or entirely encompass who I am. The fact that you beauties take your precious time to stop by this space amazes me and makes my heart smile!!

And check this out: This is the information behind The Blended Blog, which is a group that I have come to adore and am a contributor for. These ladies just "get it" but no matter what is thrown their way, always continue to bring us top quality posts and sheer genuine love & fun!!

  1. I so agree with all of these!! I wake up an hour earlier than I actually have to just so I can get to as many blogs in the morning as possible LOL! There are weeks my heart isn't into posting or I'm just uninspired, but 95% of the time I'm so happy with blogging and all the wonderful ladies, like yourself, I've met through it! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

  3. True, true, true! Thank you for saying this. I have a similar post in my head. I might just get it out there now. I really hate all the pop up and big commercialized bloggers the most. Just be real and be engaged. It's about relationships after all. People are important!

  4. All of these are SO true, Andrea! I tell my husband all the time I need a personal assistant haha! And yes, it is overwhelming. Sometimes I have to take a step back and look at the entire picture and realize how much I love it and decide it's ok to feel overwhelmed...sometimes haha! Hope you have a wonderful start to the week!

  5. Love this! I agree 100%....especially about commenting and never getting acknowledged! I make it a point to respond to all of my comments because those people have taken their time to read and comment on my post. I hate it when I comment on a a blog and never get a response. Like you, I've done this a few times and just quit subscribing to that person's blog because it seemed like they didn't care if I read it or not. I'm thankful to have come across your blog and for our friendship!!!

  10. These are all so true! Commenting back is such a fun part because I love seeing other blog posts but it definitely can give me anxiety if it's already a hectic morning! And I totally agree about the cluttered blogs--drives me crazy! I love a clean look!

  11. I agree with every word you've said! I have always tried to comment back too. It's so hard these days with No Reply Blogger so I've kind of given up on those because they take so much time to chase down. It's fun to hear back from people. I don't expect a reply every time but like you said..there are some who never respond. It just doesn't seem polite to me. You, my friend are an all star at commenting! I've come to theu r - just walk away for a few days until the zing returns.

    Have a great Monday!

  12. YES to all of these! In terms of commenting, sometimes I find myself only looking at the blogs that I don't comment on because it's quicker. I feel bad that it often takes me longer to read my friends' blogs but that's because I want to make sure to take my time reading and commenting. The other thing that's been getting to me is when the balance tips more towards c/o posts than genuine content. Of course we all love receiving things as perks of the blog but I'd rather read a bloggers genuine ideas rather than constant reviews. And here is me comparing myself (even though I know I shouldn't) but when I read these blogs that get all the free stuff, I start feeling bad about my own blog even though I feel good about what I put out there.

    ReplyDelete
  13. NAILED IT! You are amazing at commenting and they are always so sincere and so well thought out. I am trying to figure out a way to balance all of this too.

  14. Yes to this post! I completely agree with everything you said. I have really bad habit of comparing myself to others and then it makes me feel like a big ole failure. I have learned to get better about it. I have learned so many great things from reading blogs and I really value the friendships I have made. Thanks for posting this, you have such a way with words that I utterly lack.

  17. I agree with the people who never reply back or respond to comments, or even come and visit your blog. That's why I say periodically that I have some people I'd love to respond to but they are no-reply@comment bloggers. I've stopped reading and commenting on some people's blogs because they just respond with "thanks" all the time or not at all, and never visit. And the web pages with all kinds of pop ups and things...YES I can't stand them!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I totally agree with you in the commenting department! It's so hard to get to everyone's blog and respond to everyone most weeks, because like most people- my full time job gets in the way. But I do my best, and that's the best I can do :) Loved this post so much!

  20. I used to comment on a favorite bloggers post each day and never once did I get a reply. There was only like 3-5 comments each post so I never understood why I didn't at least get a "Thank you!" reply to my comment. I unsubscribed after a few months of that as I just thought it was rude haha. I get it if there are 100s of comments and I don't expect a reply each time but relaly!?

  23. Oh, Sweetie! Not a good day for me personally, but I'll get through it. Loved this post and I swear we're sisters from a different mother! Gosh, I just hope my readers see/get my comments to their comments. I worry about that, because I DO respond to my readers. And I'm all about some "honest reality"!! But for the life of me, I don't understand why I have so many clicks on my blog and no comments! WTHeck?!

  24. This is just what I needed to hear today, Andrea! I've really been overwhelmed here lately with trying to manage all the blogging things, and sometimes you just have to accept the fact that we're not robots and we can't do it all. I love your blog, your honesty, and completely agree with this post 100%. Have a wonderful week! :)

  25. If only time grew on trees! It is hard to keep up with it all, but it is fun too! The comparison one is hard for me... and the commenting. But don't get me started on the pop-ups. I definitely get why people do it, but I have to REALLY want to see what you have to say if I have to close 15 things to get to it! I hope you had a splendid Mother's Day, Andrea! I'm sure those boys spoiled you ;-)

  26. Love love love this post, I completely agree with all of your points. It's so hard to keep up with the commenting, and then also responding to comments. But since one of my biggest pet peeves are those who don't acknowledge you back I always make time for it. If someone takes the time to leave you a comment, the least you can do is respond and say thank you. And the cluttered blogs with all the pop ups and ads, it's annoying and not nice to look at. It makes the blog look so messy, and it screams that they're in it for the money :-P

  27. YES YES, I am so over seeing so many advertisements on some blogs. While I understand that this is a way for a lot of people to make money, wow...the ad's are overwhelming indeed. It doesn't LOOk good either. I said this just the other day to a friend...whether it's 2 hours, days or a week later...I respond to EVERY comment. I understand time can get in the way but the fact that people take time out of their day to read my blog seriously touches my heart. The least I can do is write back to them! Great post friend. Your comments, sweetness and attitude always brighten my day. I hope you have a great week!

There are times I'm so exhausted and don't feel like getting a post ready, but then I'm reminded of just how much I love this, the community, and people like YOU! One of my biggest pet peeves is those who don't acknowledge you back too, so I try my best to always reply to my comments and visit and comment on other bloggers. But I do have my favorites ;) And I completely get you on the cluttered blogs and the captchas...can't stand that. I enjoy blogging too much and don't see quitting anytime soon...I have met so many wonderful people. I really enjoy coming to your blog, your honesty and your positivity! It just shows through. 31. Looove the post, Andrea! So so true! Like you, I have my fave blogs I visit on a regular basis (you're one of them!), and you are right: It's super hard to leave comments on all the blogs we visit. Especially because I like to take my time and read, like yours today. You hit so many good points, and I loved your last note! In fact, I have made friends via blogging because, just like you said, I feel like they got me more than my friends that do not blog. We have this thing called blogging in common which I think make things easier. Anyhow, I am so glad we connected. You are wonderful, a great friend and stylish mama too! Heart you!!

  32. I'm completely with you the commenting front, there are just never enough hours in the day to get through it all! I absolutely hate when a blogger doesn't reply back to me, especially if I'm constantly commenting on their blog...makes me definitely not want to come back to them. I agree that when a blog makes it difficult to comment, I'm turned off!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Some days I have no problem at all reading through my Bloglovin' list, but sometimes I am a week behind! It happens! One thing I did was go through and delete some that never responded to me, never bothered to look at my blog once, changed their content to mostly sponsored posts, etc. So that helped me get through the people I really want to make sure I read daily! But I feel you on each and every one of these things!!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. All of these are so incredibly true! I hate when you write comment on a big time blogger's blog and then you don't get any sort of response back from them. How are they keeping their readers? And I always get so overwhelmed with commenting sometimes! I don't know how you keep up to date with all of those blogs you read!

    ReplyDelete
  35. You hit the nail on the head! I have been commenting less and less lately (and posting way less than I used to be) because my time/priorities have just changed! And I still love posting/reading/commenting, but it's like having another job!!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I will stop reading a blog if they never respond to my comments and/or never comment on mine. I can deal with one or the other but will not keep reading/commenting if they can't do either.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Loved this post, Andrea! You are one of my "must read" blogs, although I don't always comment. And I appreciate all your kind comments on my blog. One of my biggest pet peeves is the bloggers who don't reply in anyway to repeated comments. I'm sure some of the big name bloggers get tons of comments, but there are still those who reply to each and every one. Have a wonderful Monday.

  38. Great post, Andrea! And, yes, we have all been thinking the same thing... :-)

Blogging and everything that comes with it can be overwhelming at times. I've been blogging for over seven years, and I've found that I go through stages of "burnout" every six months or so... :-) In the end, I think it's important to remember why we are doing it! For me, it's a wonderful community of bloggers that enrich my life. Also, I sometimes put a lot of pressure on myself to post, but I'm pretty sure all my readers will be just fine if I skip a post once in a while... ;-)

  39. I have felt every single one of these emotions towards blogging and/or bloggers. A personal assistant would be amazing to avoid that overwhelmed feeling that comes and goes. It's unfortunate but I've had several bloggers just never respond to one comment so I learned to say adios and unfollow! I like blogging to build friendships and learn about different people. My comments are not meant to make a blogger win a the "poopulaity contest" in their head yet not acknowleding thier readers.

    ReplyDelete
  40. So true! Especially the commenting one. I used to comment on EVERY SINGLE post on a couple of blogs, but they never once said anything...so I stopped commenting, and I got to their blogs every other week if that, it seems like they because sponsor post heavy...sigh. And it's hard not to compare...like really hard sometimes.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Yes, Andrea, I've felt all these things! Thanks for putting it all in perspective for me. Love your posts!!

  42. this is the BEST post EVER. Seriously, I echo ALL of your sentiments.
I find you such a great person for comments. So funny because in my head you're so on the ball!
This blog stuff is so so so much work, you are sooooo right there!!
I do love your blog and I"m so one of those people that gets behind in commenting and responding to comments but it is something I find so important. I have had the same experience as you and I truly find it so sad and disappointing. Then again, there are some bloggers I know who have a decent following and still ensure to comment back sometimes and even check out smaller bloggers (like myself) to comment on their content which is AMAZING!
Thank you for being so awesome!!!

  43. Yes to the cluttered pop up filled blogs. Especially those with video ads that slow my computer to an absolute crawl every time I enter their domain.

And yes to the stop comparing myself.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I loved this post Andrea, and I found myself nodding along. Amen to a commenting assistant--it's SO hard to keep up!! Also, I agree about bloggers who never reply to comments or acknowledge your presence--it's frustrating to continually show support for someone's site and never get any type of response. I understand that people are busy, but a simple hello or thank you isn't too much to ask. Anyway, this was a great post, thank you for sharing!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. This is so true and honest! Thank you for writing this post.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Totally agree! The comparison thing is hard, esp. when they appear to live in something out of a magazine...with kids! I echo the assistant part and the commenting can be tiresome at times but I know how I feel when I get a positive comment so that keeps me taking the minute to say something kind. Visiting from Show + Tell party.

  47. Agree with all, but especially the one about commenting. I read a TON of blogs (I pretty much don't watch tv anymore) and I don't have time to comment on all those blogs every week but I read them (and yes yours is one of them!!) Angelina

    ReplyDelete
  48. Thank you so much for sharing this. I know that I don't always reply to comments, but I try to as much as I can. I have also compared myself to other bloggers, but then I realize that no ones life is actually THAT perfect. I also think that hey they are just really good at photography. I'm happy for others and their success too. You are a kind, caring, and genuine person and I always enjoy reading your posts. Keep being YOU and I also hope that you have a lovely day today!! :-)

  49. This is SO spot on Andrea!! I do and think all of this. I always try and respond or comment on other blogs I love (like yours <3), but you are right sometimes it is so hard. I too have given up on others who don't acknowledge.

  50. Thanks to sharing. I can relate to so many of these. The bloggers who ignore you are the worst. I'll never understand that one. The biggest joy in blogging to me is connecting with other bloggers. And yes, the websites with all the pop ups and difficult to navigate is becoming a growing frustration with me as so many bloggers are now switching over to WordPress. I really don't like that screen that moves showing you all the different posts. I just like them in chronological order as you scroll down the page please. Another pet peeve I have that you didn't mention is what I like to call 'Blogging Cliches"...where you see the same bloggers recommend the same blogs over and over again or constantly connect with each other to create link ups or give aways. I'd love to see some new faces once in awhile!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Nailed it! Thank you so much for this post! I'm very new and so overwhelmed. :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. Haha, there are a lot of us agreeing with you on this!
I really don't like what seems to be a new style of blog with lots of pictures and slideshows and I can't find the new content I came to look for! I fear sometimes I maybe a heading towards a very dated look for mine if this is the future, but I do like easy to find content. And pop ups....don't get me started on pop ups (or the every step is a new page click click click thing) I just give up normally. And click bait titles, or on social media - I know it works but it grates with me. All that said people are just trying to make a living, I try not to be too harsh!

  53. Anonymous10.5.16

There is SO much truth to this post. I hate it when people don't respond to comments. I know it can take awhile, but it's the fact that you do it every so often. I continually link up week after week at specific link ups and I consistently don't hear a word from the host. It makes me feel like an outsider and I'd stop linking up if it weren't such a large party.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I seriously read through this list just nodding my head the entire time. You hit the blogger (nail) on the head! I 100% agree with the acknowldgement thing! Blogging is about building a community and if it doesn't go two ways...well that's not much of a community at all. I remember I supported a blogger who was actually quite small and she never once commented back to me or on my page or anything. I finally stopped because I thought that was such a weird approach to blogging! This was a great read my gorgeous friend! XO -Kim

    ReplyDelete
  55. Amen to this list, I couldn't agree more. I love blogging and the "almost better for me friends" I have met but it sure is time consuming. I am guily of playing the comparison game or "curious" game to know how they do it, what are their actual numbers as they never have comments, etc. Oh the countless questions, engagement and inspiration we gather.

  56. I so agree with everything you have listed here. Especially with the commenting. There have been far too many bloggers who have never acknowledged some of my comments or tweets. Blogging is about community and without comments, I don't know how a community is built. It's also important to have balance. It's ok to take a break!.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Agreed! My biggest dis was the "parties" I would enter daily - I was never
"picked" and it seemed the same "popular people" were doing the "picking" -- I blogged religiously for a little over a year - I felt I was putting out good content on baking, cooking, sewing, painting, etc. I was looking for approval from these people whom I never met other than what their blogs represented and felt I never quite measured up. After a while I stopped blogging and felt a tremendous pressure lift. I still make slip covers, paint furniture, bake, cook, create, but I don't document it anymore - I do it for me and because it makes me feel proud of myself that I created something without the college education to do it. I am a very busy wife and mother to our 6 kids -- I can get all that "drama" in the school PTA -- and again, choose not to. I want to blog again because I enjoy so many other peoples blogs, I always comment. Patricia Krank @ Old Things New - has a beautiful blog - she is humble and I love her style - I always comment and she ALWAYS responds.

  59. Hi Andrea! I can totally relate to this, especially all the ads make my computer falter a lot until I can get off the site. But my real pet peeve is never responding to comments. I must say, as a newbie blogger myself, most of the blogs I follow I do get responses from. But there have been others!

  60. What a wonderful and very honest post, Andrea! I totally agree with you on the comments! For me, there just isn't enough time in the day to leave one for all the AMAZING bloggers I follow-and I feel so guilty that I cannot. As for those 'big name' bloggers who don't respond..been there-done that. It's sad really-because if not for those wonderful readers who visited daily-that blogger would not exist!!!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Amen and Amen! Ugh it's just hard to keep reading blogs that have so many ads that your own computer won't load! And it is very hard to not compare, but we must not get caught in that trap. And the never answering comments thing? I have a major problem with that. If you're spending time cranking out content, and you want people to read your stuff, acknowledge that they did and just be kind!

  66. Wow, wow, wow. WOW. I know, profound, but I am just sitting here wondering how you can read my mind from all the way over there when I am all the way over here? Hmmm. Way to live in a bubble. On an island. Gee.

I actually have one blogger too who was one of the very first I ever followed and I no longer follow for the exact same reasons as you! I really need to get better at learning to take a breath and take a break when I really feel the need. I am loving that quote and think I better pin it!

  71. Oh I identify! There is one blogger whose work I just love. I share her stuff all over the place but especially on Twitter. Do you think I can get her to follow me? I have tried almost everything and still nothing. One time I was apparently sharing her stuff too much and her assistant blocked me from Twitter! LOL!!!! So I emailed her and got access again but STILL not a follow. I think I'm done but I will still share her stuff because she truly is a talent.
The cluttered sites are a pet peeve, too. I love so many blogs that you have to duck, dodge and click out of so many opt ins and ads that it makes me wonder why I try. But, again, they are talented bloggers who I appreciate. So I deal with it. On busy days, though, I have to leave. No time to mess around.
This post was the MOST VIEWED on our party, dear lady.
You will be featured on Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop next week - congrats!!!

  72. Great post! I agree on every, single one! Since I started blogging in January, my regular reads are not the same that they once were. The blogs that I read religiously for years, I hardly ever read anymore. After commenting or asking a question and not even getting an acknowledgment (ever), I stopped. I know it's hard to interact with every person that comments, but like you said, just a short sweet comment back would be nice. Interacting with other bloggers is one of my favorite things about blogging. Thanks for sharing!

  73. Can't agree more :). You are right..and how I love all those quotes. Sucha a great reminder!

  74. Andrea, I came to this post from your link at Saucy Saturdays. And I'm so glad I did. I try to respond to all comments and to reciprocate, but that would be impossible if I posted more frequently than my mere once a week. I've been blogging for more than six years now, just once a week, and marvel at all of you who post several times a week. Looking forward to reading more of your blog (and visiting some of these interesting commenters as well).

  75. PS Andrea, I just spent a lot of time checking out the blogs of many of the commenters (I especially wanted to show some love to the ones who said they don't get many comments), and found something that might help them (not that you didn't already mention it above, "captchas or signing in, difficult to comment boxes"). A lot of them don't make it easy for readers to leave a comment! I couldn't leave a comment on a lot of them because they either required me to be on Google+ or login in some way or another. No can do--can't sign up for one more thing, can't come up with one more password!

    1. I could not agree more. I don't want to be on Google + or DISCUS or any of those other annoying "have-to-sign-up-if-you-want-to-comment" things.

  76. I get so frustrated when it's difficult to comment. I just give up and move on. It's so crazy to me that some blogs can be so cluttered and difficult to read - it seems like it almost takes more effort to make that happen than to leave a blog in it's default set up.

  77. You are so telling the truth and sometimes I want to share but can't find the share buttons anywhere. I probably try way too long before finally giving up and moving on. This is a great post.
    Thanks

  78. This post is perfection!! :) Thanks so much for sharing what so many feel. I just found your blog via Life & Linda and I'm so glad! I plan to visit several that have responded here as they mentioned they rarely receive comments.

Thank you again! I'm a new follower ~

  82. This is a very insightful post. The thoughts and feelings you expressed probably apply to many of us, if we are truly honest about it. I have had all those thoughts and feelings. I finally realized that it is much more rewarding and satisfying when I do not feel the need to keep up with or compare myself to other bloggers. I enjoyed your post very much!

  84. Obviously there are lots of bloggers in agreement with you, Andrea! One of my biggest pet peeves is sharing content, tagging the blogger and never having the blogger acknowledge the share in any way. I get that everyone is busy, but really how long does it take to click a like button? I share lots of content from Snickerdoodle Sunday and I'm often left feeling like the effort wasn't appreciated at all, especially when it's the featured posts that I'm taking lots of time to share all over. Thanks for linking up at Snickerdoodle Sunday.

  85. Wow, you hit the nail on the head with the ones about never being acknowledged and the blogs filled with advertising/pop-ups. I can think of a few bloggers that are extremely guilty of never acknowledging comments...just who do they think made them popular bloggers...readers that is who...treat them a little better. I quit reading 3 in particular for that very reason. I hate going to a blog and some damned box pops up every time...it is more than annoying.
Thanks for this post, it was long over due!
    Have a great week.

  86. Yes to all points. Especially the navigating. Love to have you join my party Thursday. Opens at 6:00 a.m.

  87. Great post Andrea. Blogging can be frustrating at times. We all need assistants...LOl That would be wonderful. We all cannot possibly comment on every blog. A nicely arranged blog can make a big difference. Thanks for sharing your point of view. xo

  88. Andrea, Yep! Check! Amen! LOL There are so many here that I agree with. I love comments and I love commenting, do I spend more time on that than writing. Yes. Do I wish it were the other way around. Yep. But would I have a great community without it? Nope! I have started to use the Voice to text on my phone so that I can comment faster. Especially when I'm not on my computer. It helps.

And I hate popups. I know that others swear by them, but I've stopped reading a lot of blogs because of them, so I don't have them on my blog. And yes, I have stopped reading blogs that I can't navigate. Ain't nobody got time for that!

And yes, I am overwhelmed. But even when I find a spare second I seem to stuff something else into that time. So I guess I either like being busy or I'm an idiot! LOL Not sure which one, yet!

  90. One of the best posts I've read in a long time thank you for saying what so many of us feel. I may get a little behind with answering comments but always answer.

  91. I read this post the other day but didn't have time to comment which brings me to the excellent points you made here, especially about the comments that I agree with you 100%. Great stuff here and you read my mind, sista. But yeah, a blog should never consume your life even if that blog is done to earn a living!

  92. Hey, that's me with the big goofy smile in the overwhelmed picture! This list is great! Thanks for saying it for us all!

  97. Love this post Andrea and I couldn't agree more. I have been doing a bit of siesta myself and putting my personal life ahead of the blog lately and have this guilt that I haven't been putting out new content. I think I need to onboard some more organization tools and I would love an assistant to help with commenting as well. Maybe we can pool in on one ;).

  103. Hi Andrea - I really enjoyed your post today and you are so right - definitely things I have thought, but never actually said out loud! I like knowing that I am not the only one that feels this way. Especially about the commenting. Thanks so much for sharing today at #FridayFrivolity where we are neighbors

  104. I had a great friend let me know the other day that MY blog had crazy pop-up ads and it was making it difficult to navigate my site. I was SO glad she'd mentioned this to me, because whenever I tried to check this out myself, there were just static, small ads that didn't seem to be a problem. Now I just have to figure out how to get rid of them all... :/ Thanks for joining us at #FridayFrivolity this week!

  105. Oh yes I agree. There are some crazy blogs out there, that are so hard to navigate, I've given up several times. Also agree about the bloggers who ignore you. That always gets my goat!

  108. so totally on point. love this. I use to spend every Saturday night catching up on blogs and commenting but you are correct it can get overwhelming and so time consuming. I have resorted to tweeting the posts and hope they understand it means I read it and loved it. Plus hello life has been crazy lately. Like you I followed a blogger and commented almost daily and never ever got any acknowledgement which made me wonder do we even matter. Thanks for sharing
