FRIDAY FAVORITES....HOLIDAYS FULL SWING EDITION

Happy FRIDAY! Guess what I am doing today? Moving BOXES!!!! We can't sleep there yet because they are still working out an egress window situation with the County Department, but we got the nod to move in boxes. It's a start!

1. Amazing Kids
Ok, I gotta brag on a couple things our college boys did recently. I don't get to share in the older two's accomplishments as much since they're away at college so I was pretty impressed with what transpired for them recently.

Candle Boy
So, this guy did a favor and came home just to work a weekend at Bath and Body Works for the 3 wick Candle weekend sale to make money for Christmas gifts. He literally put 1000 candles on the shelves. Bet all the ladies loved having a guy help them at B&BW.
#Cutestreindeer

Inventor
This guy has worked his butt off this semester to get too this point. At the IU symposium, his team, who invented "The Walking Car" won 2nd place out of all the undergrads. He put hours and hours into this project and received big time accolades for the accomplishment. He is our little inventor and we are very proud. He has always loved to "build" stuff! #Legosetspaidoff

2. Date Day and a Reindeer Mule
We got in a day date last Saturday as will probably be the only one we will get this month and man what a good meal. Starting off with this long pretzel..and my drink.....

.....A reindeer mule..scrumptious!

3. Week's Attire
The Loft Top, pants & shirt, Michael Kors Flats

Dreamers Sweater, Grace and Lace cami, Scarf gift from son and Steve Madden boots

Nordstrom dress, TJ Maxx Vest, Steve Madden boots

4. Patagonia Vest
I LOVE this Patagonia Vest so much! It is the coziest vest I have ever owned, and the pockets are great. I decided to make it festive by adding some red beads and my Santa Purse. Last weekend was so mild, all I needed was a light sweater underneath. Add in my most favorite booties and it was the perfect day out shopping with my man outfit.

5. Misc. Fun
EOS Peppermint Cream
I have found my favorite EOS Lip Balm. So much so that I got two of them and went back for some as gifts. LOVE the scent for the holidays

Gingerbread House Kit
How cute is this? They made a gingerbread house on his Birthday Monday. What a good job and he's come a long way from when we use to make them when the boys were younger. Now I feel like getting one of these kits and giving it a whirl. So fun!

Cutest Mini Lightbox
One of our boys bought this to give to a girl to officially ask her a question. No…NOT a will you marry me, more like a "Will you be my girl?"

  9. My kids are bonkers over Patagonia stuff. Your vest looks very "pettable"...LOL and that sweater is one of (make that 2 of) my favorites. I have the cream and black and and mustard. Wore it yesterday as a matter of fact. So soft. I haven't seen the peppermint eos. I have a regular one that stays on the coffee table for daily use. Congrats to your cute boy on his award. That's really cool. I of course had to go into Bath & Body and grab candles on candle day and we did not have a cute reindeer boy working at ours.😉 That place was a ZOO, but what a great deal! Ok girl, you are in the home stretch. Have a wonderful weekend!!! and don't work yourself into the ground. XOXO

Those mules are the bomb. I got my daughter the hammered copper mugs for Christmas, and yesterday bothered the heck out of a man at our big liquor store to tell me what's in a Moscow Mule! She has all the fixings now!

I love your outfits! You always amaze me with the ways you accessorize. Can you tell us where you found the necklaces in the first 2 photos?

  30. YAYAYAYAY!!!! I hope you have had an awesome day of moving. That is just SO darn exciting girl. I just got home from helping Russ Frame walls. It is almost depressing to have the outside totally finished but the inside is just a bare shell. We'll get there eventually. That pretzel and the Mr's beer look SO good! I could go for that right about now. Also I am so glad to hear your lego sets paid off, I hope mine do :P.
