MY CLOSET TOUR

Here it is, the “Hers” closet reveal. I know many of you have requested this and I am happy to share. I still don’t have it quite the way I want it arranged and now the winter shoes on the shoe wall have been replaced by some sandals and espadrilles. There's more decorating and organizing I want to do. I gotta admit however, there have been times I wanted to just lay on the floor and sleep in there, I love it so much. The builders were joking that my closet is bigger than Mr. Nine’s home office. Now, to be fair, he does have a “His” closet and mine was not originally supposed to be this big, it just kinda happened…and I am sooo glad it did.

In our old house, I literally had stuff in like 6 of our closets and I would forget where stuff was all the time. Now Mr. Nine can have the dresser all to himself and I have my own spots for everything. You may recall I wanted leopard carpet but no retailer here had any soft in design, the leopard was all kind of in your face so I stuck with our regular carpet and it was fine as I love it. The two transom windows are high enough so no one can see in but I have some natural light and can see the trees. The cabinet and shelving is perfect for my jewelry, taller boots, clutch purses and smaller bags. I'm also slowing adding a few pairs of flip flops in this area too.

The chandelier is perfect and I knew the center island would need a marble quartz top and tray for peonies flowers.
Buy the 3 Light Chandelier HERE // Crystal Beaded Mirrored Tray HERE // Similar Peonies Arrangement HERE

The mirror is fixed to a cabinet with shelving behind it and is where I keep my pajamas and work out clothes. Something else I did was slowly switch over to all white hangers along with several padded ones for some sweaters. Mr. Nine has all black hangers.
I love that they are all the same color.

Shoe wall heaven and then when you walk in, on the right is more shelving where I store some shoes in boxes. The pink bins from Home Goods & store things like belts and some scarves.
My jeans complete the shelves in-between.

The polka dot bins are also from home goods and store wine beanies, baseball hats and gloves.

The island is of course bras, undies, tights and shorts.

I will admit not all of it fits in the closet. However, at my garage sale in a few weeks, I plan on getting rid of TONS of clothes so hoping I won't need this overflow walk-in in my office/craft room for so many seasonal clothes.
Over Flow Walk-In

I thank Mr. Nine all the time for giving me a dream closet and I count my blessings each day for hard work, dedication and dreams come true.
A HUGE Thank you to Rolando from Closet Craft for designing my space.
So in LOVE!

XOXO

  7. I have a spare bedroom that is tiny. I always wanted to make a closet room out it but it turned into an office instead which is sad because we sit in the den with our lap tops on our laps!. Maybe one day huh. I love shoes. Im limited on money and space so I try to find shoes that ar practical but Im tire of that. I want ALL the SHOES whether I’ll wear them or not. You did good with this. Now excuse me while I go look at all your shoes again. Lol

  8. So fun! I have finally gotten all of my clothes into one closet but am still working on organizing just the way I want. Made a huge dent yesterday and just need to finish the drawers now. It really does make getting dressed so much easier and more fun!

  37. Oh my! what a closet! I love mine but it's probably 1/3 that size but 3 times bigger than I had at our old house. I Love all your cute bins, the beautiful chandalier and that island is amazing. Thanks for the tour! Happy new week!

  38. SO IN LOVE and so Pinterest pretty! I love the natural light you get through those high windows and look at all those shoes? I guess since you experience ALL the seasons you have an excuse to have a "few pairs" for each or maybe 15 pairs (same thing right?). Boots do take up a lot of room so I'm glad I don't have to have many pairs. The soft colors and all the storage space is perfect for a fashion loving lady like you! xo Emily @ Martinis & Bikinis

  53. Eek!! So glad to finally see this post! This would be a DREAM closet for me! I have a list of stuff I want for our next (forever) home and I need to add that I want a BIGGER closet. We do have a fairly big closet in our Master Bedroom, but it just isn't as glamorous as this and it has that yucky wiring shelving. I was thinking of maybe having IKEA come out and redo it, but first we need to get our kitchen redone. Ours is sort of a long hallway closet that runs the length of the room, I like that yours is an actual 'room'. SOO nice. I also love how you have the shoes and even your bags displayed. And a chandelier? Why not!! I would sleep in there, too!

(and he's a great guy...he just thinks I already have too much stuff...LOL #mendontgetit) Anyway, so happy to see this beautiful room and I couldn't blame you for wanting to sleep in there.๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜ XOXO
