Kellyann from This Blonde's Shopping Bag is a true blogging sister in every sense of the word. She sent me the most uplifting note and a few of her favorite things as we have very similar tastes and style. I am reminded on a daily basis how many wonderful and compassionate women are out there to support and lift one another up. Just when hope is lost on people you may encounter in your real life, a blogging friend brightens up your heart and reminds you why we post and share....to inspire and encourage one another. If you haven't already; check out her sweet Blog, she finds the best deals and always looks adorable and polished. A true beauty inside and out!

PINEAPPLE PUSHER, WUW and SPRING FEVER LINK-UP

Just call me your pineapple pusher. You all know I am crazy for pineapples and that love just got crazier with this softer than a baby's butt Pineapple Sweatshirt. This puppy was on back-order but boy was it worth the wait. Literally the softest piece of clothing I have ever owned. Welcome to our weekly fashion link-up, as well as, the last Wednesday of the month What's Up Wednesday with ShayMel & Sheaffer

This sweatshirt can be dressed up or down. I had it styled with white jeans and Tory Burch Miller sandals but decided just to be casual and comfy on this day. As much as I love pumps and wedges and booties, I have amassed quite the collection of retro tennies which take me back. These Adidas Stan Smith's remind me of my favorite "Prince" brand tennis racket back in the day.

This is the perfect little running around doing errands outfit. Nice and soft, bright and cheery and I bet someone is bound to comment on your pineapples, lol.

BISCUITS & GRAVY CASSEROLE

We are a biscuits and gravy family! Well it's only an occasional treat for me, I think my husband and boys can eat them every week! Never once in my life have I made gravy from the packet, I always make it from scratch like my mom and dad always have. Often, I will add scrambled eggs and cheese on top of our Biscuits and Gravy so I decided to combine it all into yummy casserole and I think it was probably the best breakfast casserole I have ever made! I even sent some back with one of a college boys as he thought it was so great.

Yum

What you'll Need

BISCUITS & GRAVY CASSEROLE
Ingredients:
1 can jumbo biscuits
1 lb. pork sausage, cooked & crumbled
1/2 cup sweet onion, finely chopped
8 eggs, (I always use brown eggs)
3 cups shredded Colby-Jack cheese
For the gravy
Drippings from the sausage
1/2 stick butter
4 Tablespoons flour
2 1/2 cup milk
2 Tablespoons beef base
salt & pepper, to taste

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°. In a large skillet, cook your sausage until crumbly and drain the sausage on a paper towel. To the drippings, add your flour and butter and milk to make a rue and then slowly add  your milk until the mixture thickens. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat or keep on a low simmer. Spray a  9 x 13 pan with cooking spray. Cut up the biscuits and place in the bottom. Next spread the sausage crumbles, then some chopped onion. Spread the shredded cheese. Whisk together your eggs and some salt and pepper and pour over the cheese. Next, pour the gravy over everything and cover with tin foil. Bake for 45 minutes.
The biscuits cut up on the bottom with the crumbled sausage and onion.
