TBB ASKS ~ ENTERTAINMENT EDITION



Welcome fine friends to the May edition of TBB ASKS. This month’s theme is Entertainment and don’t we all like be to be entertained? Let’s get to it and have fun floating around to all those who link up with us and find out what they do for fun! 



1. Comedy or Drama? Mixed together..best of both worlds!

2. Fiction or Non-Fiction? Fiction…made up stories are so much better, lol

3. Movies in Theater or At Home? Another mix of both, we love movies at home on Friday nights but the Lounger Movie theater is a game changer and the old school theater in our favorite beach town cannot be beat.

4. Musical or Play? Musicals all the way..CATS, Phantom, Mama Mia, WICKED...

5. Which Meal of the day is your favorite to eat out? BRUNCH BABY!! Wait...and Ice cream anytime!!


6. Favorite Book ever read? I know I said fiction but my favorite book ever read is actually non-fiction…it’s ”Night” by Elie Wiesel

7. Game Night: Yes or No? YES...Yatzee and Monopoly are big Favorites.

9. Favorite TV Series ever? Parethood! #teambraverman

10. Sitcoms growing up or Sitcoms of today? While I love The Middle, Roseanne, Goldbergs, etc..you cannot beat sitcoms of the 70's and 80's!

11. Miniature Golf or Bowling? Miniature Golf! Although I was once on a bowling league but I also got a hole in one mini golfing!!

12. Favorite Movie Theater Candy? Junior Mints! or as in above photo..new Caramel M&M's!

13. How do you like your popcorn? I’m not a big fan of movie popcorn so I like it No butter with plenty of salt and only a few handfuls.

14. 3D movies with the glasses; Yes or No? NO WAY..this was the last time we saw a 3D movie...7 years ago. Hurts our old eyes, lol.


15. Favorite Genre of Books to Read? Thrillers with good twists! These are my recent 4 star or above reads:

  9. Love it! I think popcorn at the movies smells like a locker room!!! Mini golf is only fun if my kids aren't playing and alcohol is involved (same goes for bowling LOL!) XOXO

  22. I had ice cream on Friday and again on Saturday and it was so delicious!! :-) I grew up going on NY and Cats and Phantom are my two favorites. Actually, Phantom was the last play that I saw before we moved to Chicago. Anyways!! Super fun post and love all of these photos!! Hope that you had a glorious weekend too!! :-)

  24. Parenthood is my second favorite TV series ever... second to FRIENDS! It's a very close second, though... For a while there I thought it might surpass Friends, but I just couldn't let that happen. Lol.

  29. YES to brunch! Breakfast food + drinks = the best! And the type of movie theater definitely makes or breaks the movie experience. I don't know if I can ever go to another one with the small, normal seats again.

  35. I'm totally with you on loving musicals! I just can't get enough! And I don't think that any show has effected me as much as Parenthood did! I swear I cried every single episode, but it was so good!

  39. I'm looking forward to some at home movie days with the kiddos soon once they're off school! We love to go to Walgreens and get some snacks/drinks and then I always make homemade popcorn on the stovetop! It's so fun and a relaxing day! I LOVE musicals, too! We just saw Hamilton and now Phantom is here and I'm trying to talk myself into shelling out money to see another musical, they fell within a month of each other! We saw Phantom in NYC and LOVED it. I put on the Sound of Music all the time and I'm so glad my kids love it, too!! Sorry I didn't get a chance to join y'all today... I was planning on it, but my daughter had a competition this weekend and it was crazy busy. So tired!

    Andrea you look AMAZING on your pic - and it is super cool that you are holding a cocktail for the 'entertainment' segment - most of the activities in the questions would be so much better accompanied by a cocktail! Right with you on the mixed genre film - I added this to mine too. ues to Brunch, yes to Monopoly, yes to mini golf! Each of these pics are too cute, I'm so with you in loving tv from "back in the day", thrillers with twists are my favorite too, and yes to musicals and Sound of Music! While traveling through Europe the summer after graduation I was able to visit several sites where they filmed the movie in Austria! So fun! It was also fun to see more things we have in common, darling friend! xo!
