THE FAB 40's AND FAIRY TALES

Fairy Tales are just magical, aren’t they? That’s why I was super excited when My dear friend Suzy of Suzy Turner asked to join this month’s Fab 40s and the Tales of the Unexpected Fairy Tale theme. I was lucky enough to join this lovely group of ladies once before and I am a huge fan of their blogs and their style and what they bring as Fabulous 40’s ladies. I knew right away that I would want to feel like a princess. I mean May has been the month of the Princess with the royal wedding nine days ago. I was thinking something along the lines of Cinderella, Rapunzel and with this dress shape, maybe even a bit of The Little Mermaid thrown in.

This Wayf Penelope Dress stole my heart from the very beginning. The marble ice color is just soooo Good!

The Platinum Nickel and Suede earrings are a favorite of mine and I had to wear a black choker like Cinderella.

My sweet oldest son took these photos in our woods right after a rain where we both endured numerous mosquitoes bites..fashion sacrifices I tell ya!

All Modern Day versions of course..a cross between Blake Lively’s Cinderella dress and as Suzy reminded me, the Johnny Depp version of Cinderella.

  2. Oh, how I have missed you!! We're HOME! Cinderella is my favorite princess, too, but I didn't get to see her this time on our visit to Disney! I had to BEG Alise to meet Ariel, which was always her favorite when she was in "Princess Mode." Love that gorgeous dress and you as well! Lookin' good, Sista! xoxo

  6. Even without the narrative, Andrea, I knew immediately you were letting your inner Cinderella come out to play the moment I laid eyes upon your picture. Does that tell you how much I adore it? :) xoxo

  15. A Fairytale Princess - perfect description of what you look like. Just stunning and oh, so lovely.

NOTE: Blogger has screwed up mine and many other bloggers and made us "no reply" and also we're not getting our comments through our email. Have mercy, so aggravating. My blog designer says they should have it fixed shortly and one would only hope so. Those "cookie things" they did caused all of it. They need to stay out of our business. :o))
