DECKING OUR HALLS

One of my favorite things to do in the whole wide world is decking the halls! As many of you know we moved into our new house last December and I didn’t really get to decorate properly. I bought lots of new decorations this year and it will be a growing process over the next few years. I already have tubs and tubs and my uncle joked that I have a storage room just for Christmas Decor. It took me about a week to decorate but the results are so worth it. In fact, Linking it up with TBB's What Brings Us Joy today as it brings me oodles upon oodles!!Here are some glimpses of our Christmas decorations inside our home.

The signs are from Kirklands

The Double-Sided Fireplace is of course one of my favorite things to decorate and I plan to do a little more to it next year.

I have just been loving Battery Operated Lights, we had to stock A LOT of batteries for them but so pretty, especially the snowflake ones from Michaels.

The big tree is in reds, champagnes and golds is a showstopper when you walk in the family room.

See the smaller version with these colors too.

My plan for this hall tree is to add some letters on top next year thanks to my dear friend Lisa and some battery-operated lights to the garland. We made a mistake when we built and did not put an outlet to the left of this hall tree so I’m going to have our electrician come back and add it so I can plug-in a larger tree here.

A few little tidbits in the kitchen....
How cute is the Santa Cookie sign!

Keeping the dining room table scape nice and simple. My mom got me this beautiful red vase and napkins and napkin rings from pier one and I just love the hints of shiny red.

Of course, you’ve seen the Christmas Guest Bedroom and the Cabinet Wreaths  which I dedicated entire posts to because they’re two of my favorite areas of decoration.

I’ve been loving changing out decorative wreaths for the holidays on these wall doors. Most of the wreaths and smaller trees in the house have battery operated lights as well.
Black and White Accent Chair HERE and HERE
(I get asked about his Chair all the time)

My little office tree is in pinks and golds

Some snippets from the laundry room top row and master Bedroom bottom row. There's a little Christmas in almost all the rooms but I didn't want to overload ya with pictures, lol!

Most everything I have bought has been from Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx, Michaels or Home Goods.

The Santa Blanket above is one of my favorite finds from Home Goods.

HO HO HO, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

  2. Your house looks gorgeous, Andrea! I love the kitchen -- I had wanted to put wreaths on our cabinets too, but we are going to be painting them eventually so I thought I would wait and have something to look forward to. Also, that Santa blanket is too cute! I'm hoping to get pictures up of our house next week. I had planned to take pictures yesterday, but it was so cloudy from that snow storm! Happy Monday!

  20. You definitely know how to do Christmas. So beautiful and festive. (and showing so much lit up at night was a great way to go). I miss my mudroom. The garland looks great on top. Isn't it funny how you think you thought of all the places you need an outlet and then you realize you missed a spot. LOL. A taller tree will look grand there. Beautiful home for a beautiful family!!! XO
