FRIDAY FAVORITES...THAT'S IT APRIL

Happy Fabulous Friday friends. Today marks the annual Picking Posies outting with my sweet mom where we go to about every area greenhouse to gather our flowers for the season and come home and plant, plant. plant. With the next 2 months being crazy busy for me with A Garage Sale, Proms and Kids graduating, I am scaling back a tad. Well, I say that until I get there and burst with excitement and my green thumb starts calling. I hope your last weekend of April is full of green, sunshine and so much fun!!

1. My Featured Lady...
Make sure you head over to The Blended Blog to see my piece on my dear Friend LAURA. I'm excited that my first feature is about this incredible beauty!

2. Sweet Tooth
Why oh why was born with such sweet tooth? However, I was certainly happy to indulge that sweet tooth this week for two awesome goodies. See that's the thing, it has to be like the best pie or the best cookie for me to indulge and these were two of the BEST...so I'll add a few more crunches and a few more (try 1000's) steps
Look at this lucious Key Lime Pie mom brought me
(you may remember she makes one for me every year on my birthday but was gone this year so Yep, it was worth the wait!!)
Mom's Key Lime Pie Recipe HERE

And Let's Not forget the toffee laden goodness of
Just Right Chocolate Chip Cookies from Tuesday's  Post

3. Ripped Jeans
I have a couple pairs of jeans with rips here and there but these are my first pair to really be ripped up. Sweet Emily from Martinis & Bikinis featured her love of these mid-rise Jeggings from Express and I am in love too. Jazzed them up for the first night of wear with a blazer and Barcelona Cami, both from Express..

Other ripped up goodness

4. Pineapple Doormat
How cute is this triple pineapple doormat!! $12.99 from Target HERE

5. Grad Dress HELP.....
Really friends, I seriously need your help. All 6 of these dresses may have went home with me because I cannot for the life of me decide which one to wear to my son's graduation...I am not good at even dressing room selfies but Help a sista out and tell  me your favorite or favs as I may need a couple for parties, awards nights, etc...

  14. OMG that doormat is adorable!!! Now I may have to go and get that, at least for our back deck! I love it!!! The ripped jeans look I love, I just can't seem to make myself buy a pair. Maybe one day! And yes to the key lime pie. Gimme gimme!! Have a great weekend!!!!

  15. Well I'm going to break from the rest, I love the polka dot dress. I guess for me I think graduations are more formal, serious events, they aren't cocktail parties.(although cocktails may be included in the parties after/around) That dress is classy, respectful, yet fun. The others are fun and flirty (especially the striped one which is my 2nd choice) but I think the polka dress would put you in the classy mom category. Good luck with your choice.

  16. Thanks so much for the shout-out, Sista! I left you a comment about BIG HAIR on The Blended Blog. Have I told you lately that you're the best!? Well, you are! As for dresses, I'm liking the striped and the cobalt. If that neckline is what I think it is on the cobalt, I think you should totally go for it because it will show off one of your best features! Can't wait to read about which one you decide on! Have an awesome weekend. You and your precious mom plant some flowers for me because if I even TOUCH a plant, it will surely die! xoxo

Oh gosh...all of those dressed look fabulous on you...but I would say for graduation, perhaps the coral lace or cobalt dress? And for a party the neon dress would be fun! Can't wait to see what you go with!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, gorgeous!

  27. Where did you get that gorgeous polka dot dress! I need that right now in my closet! Pick that one a hundred times over! I think I like the top row of dress best, any one of them would be great for summer events! And yay for your first feature, headed off over there to check her out!

  28. The striped dress hands down wins IMHO for graduation dress! I LOVE key lime pie and made my husband get me one at this BBQ place here that also has a dessert shop on my birthday last August. I may need another one for my birthday this year!

I have the boyfriend cut from American Eagle & they are so comfortable!!! I worry about pulling them off at my age but they feel so good who cares! As for the dresses, I like the polka dot one for graduation & the neon for a party, it really sets off your tan! Can't wait to read more!

  40. Hmmmm I really love the floral and the cobalt dresses for graduation type events. The striped dress is fun for a Saturday out or something. The neon dress is summer event perfection if you have a BBQ or something coming up. I really REALLY want key lime pie now, so umm I am blaming any future binge all on you. Hope you have a great weekend!!!!

Let me send you my address and you can just let me borrow them?!?! Love you bunches! Have a great weekend!

  47. I personally love the Striped the best. Floral would be second. Coral Lace for a more upscale event and the Polka Dot would be cute for a cookout. I don't care for the neon or cobalt.
Love the ripped jeans. And a big thank you for the recipes. Yummmm!
