WHAT'S UP WEDNESDAY & SUMMER STYLE LINK-UP

I can't believe that I've never done a post for Mel, Sheaffer and Shay's What's UP Wednesday on the last Wednesday of every month. I always loved reading these so I decided to join in on the fun. As you know Wednesday's around here are fashion link ups with my dear sisters from TBB but I decided to incorporate this fun list of what's going on in my life in addition to what I'm wearing lately! Which reminds me next Wednesday starts the What I Wore Link-Up with the ladies and myself. Come see everything this great group of the ladies is sporting as we transition into Fall. And oh yeah and you can keep linking up all your fashion goodness!
Here's my Outfit for the Link-Up and coordinates well with the fact that Monday's Post brought you my Favorites of Fall and 2 of the items were plaids and Hunter boots so this one incorporates both. The minute I saw this Avia plaid top at Francesca's, I knew it had to be mine. It's flowy and has such a cute neckline, not the traditional collared neckline and just look a the contrast polka dots when it is cuffed. I will be wearing this on repeat with jeans and boots.

Now to the What's UP!!

1. WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK: Italian Turkey Burger Soup; Pork Chops with Mashed potatoes and golden mushroom gravy; 5 Ingredient Chicken and Pasta and Tony Sacco's Coal Fired Pizza
                                                      Turkey Burger Soup Recipe Here
Put chops in crockpot with one can golden mushroom and one can cream of mushroom  soup (I use healthy request), then add one half cut up onion and cook all this on low for 4-6 hours until chops are tender, serve over mashed potatoes

5 Ingredient Chicken and Pasta Here

2. WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT: Our Summer vacation especially since Summer is coming to a close; such quality times with the 5 of us together...miss that, miss the two older studs!!

3. WHAT I’M LOVING: Reading all the crisp Fall goodness that y'all are looking forward too!! Gives me ideas for recipes, fashion and decor AND it is "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year." I talked about some of my Fall Favorites on Monday
4. WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO: Football for our youngest, Golf for my Mr. and all kinds of organizing by me in all our closets and drawers to keep busy when not actually busy with all life's other responsibilities.
5. WHAT I’M DREADING: The Farmer's Almanac Prediction of a Wetter Winter and colder than normal temperatures. I like crisp snow but not this kind of forecast.

6. WHAT I’M WORKING ON: Getting my Scrapbooking up to date with the Graduation and Summer vacation pics.
7. WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT: Notre Dame FOOTBALL. Kick off is this Sunday night. Let's GO IRISH!!!!

Excited to wear these clothes and cheer on these guys!!!

8. WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING: Season One of "Billions" & Reading "One True Loves"
Just finished season one (12 episodes), Season two starts next February

9. WHAT I’M LISTENING TO: Adele "Send My Love", Prime and Old School Country, Ariana Grande's "Into You."

10. WHAT I’M WEARING: Besides Plaids, Lots of White Jeans, Pearls, Antro and still sandals b/c the weather keeps fluctuating.

11. WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND: It's a long weekend, yay!! So any kind of shenanigans we can get into will be quite all right by me. Oh and I'm decorating the inside for Fall. Outside waits a few more weeks as don't want the pumpkins to rot and mums to die in the heat, lol.
12. WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH: Seeing my babies, it'll be their first trip home from college. AND PSL's baby!!
13. WHAT ELSE IS NEW: Tomorrow is the 1 Year Anniversary Fashion Link-Up called My Refined Style that I co-host with 7 other lovely ladies. You don't want to miss it where we describe how we refine our style and you'll see all kinds of fashion goodness.

14 Bonus. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SUMMER TO FALL TRANSITIONAL PIECE IN YOUR CLOSET: A Crisp, White, Shirt...so versatile!
HAPPY WEDNESDAY BABY DOLLS!!!!

  29. L.O.V.E. the plaid with polka dots! Soooo cute! I love mixing patterns. I also am kind of enamored with your Notre Dame game outfit! That's my style girl! I'll just trade it for NCSU or Panthers. All love, all love. Tell me about the book! I'm probably going to make that crock pot recipe for my family when it cools down a bit. Ewww to wet winters. I like unseasonably warm like we had here last year! It was 80 degrees on Christmas!?!?!? What?! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo to my favorite person who I am OK with decorating for fall on Labor Day weekend hehehe!

  33. I have red Hunter boots, too. I just got mine in May (for Mother's Day), so I haven't worn them much, but I am soooo excited to wear them this Fall & Winter! I can't wait to see how you style them, so I can copy your ideas! ;)
Do you use a boot liner in yours for the Winter, or just wear thick socks?

  35. I love so much about this post! That red plaid shirt is so freaking adorable! Love it! I always love your recipes - I'm making the pork chop one tomorrow - just got chops at Costco tonight! I'm with you - Sept 1st is fall decor time - literally from Sept 1st through Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year!!! Girl, I wish I had my scrapbooks updated - I am so behind. My blog is my attempt at scrapbooking these days. I would love to get my oldest son's scout one done for his Eagle Court of Honor - all we have left is his paperwork! I am loving that Ariana Grande song too!
